In preparation for the upcoming BDO schools league the school will be holding extra training sessions on Wednesdays and possibly Thursdays from 4 – 5 pm. The school is preparing to enter a number of teams at the U7, U9 and U12 age groups, numbers permitting, so all students that are keen to play are encouraged to attend. Coaches Rickie and Atilla will be overseeing the sessions but any other parent keen to help out is very welcome. Next Wednesday (Jan 23rd) will be the first session so it would be helpful if everyone (all age groups) who wants to play can attend. Then the coaches will have a better idea of numbers and plan subsequent sessions accordingly. Please take a minute to sign up your child so we will know what and who to expect for the training. You can sign up here!
If you need to contact either coach please email them at:

The Environmental Health Officer paid a visit to inform us that they wish to fog the area this Friday. This is being done as a precaution with the recent outbreak of dengue in the territory and the increase of mosquitoes with the recent rains. We need to request all children to be picked up by 4:30p.m. on Friday afternoon to safely accomplish this. Thank you for your cooperation. Hello Parents, Please remember that this Friday, October 19th, is our Primary School’s Mid-term break. There will be no classes on Friday. St Ursula’s day will be observed on Monday October 22nd and is a national holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 23rd. Please have a safe and enjoyable break. First Impressions Class meetings have been scheduled below. Please make every effort to attend. This is your chance to meet with your child’s teacher and to meet some of the other parents. We have found that the parents’ network is beneficial for both the parents and students especially when homework is not understood or brought home, or when items are missing or unknown items found! Remember we are all part of the First Impressions family and our interaction helps to make our children’s education experience here complete. We look forward to seeing you. GRADE 6 PLEASE NOTE YOUR MEETING IS THIS FRIDAY AT 12:30!
Hello Parents, ALL PARENTS are requested to print pages 36-38. Fill, sign and return them to the administrative office at the Centre. These signed pages are required for your child’s file. It is hard to believe that we are already at the end of the first week of our new academic year. We want to take this opportunity to say a big welcome to all the new students, parents and teachers. Also a big welcome back to all those returning. As usual we look forward to a great year at First Impressions. Education is the key to a successful life and we want all those who pass through FI to be successful. Let us support each other and work together to make it another fun-filled, hard working, successful year for all of us. If you are subscribed to this website, please take this opportunity to click the link in the e-mail you received and update the categories that you are subscribed to. We hope you all had a pleasant, enjoyable and memorable summer. Now it’s back to work (which is not a bad thing) and back to building our children who will be the adults of tomorrow. |
