Teacher Ann

If this is your first time visiting our school’s website you might think it strange that you have arrived on this page. This is because we, the First Impressions family, recently lost a most beloved friend and teacher. Ann I. Johnson, lovingly known as “Teacher Ann” is no longer with us. We want to make it known to all that we miss her and that the influence she has had on the lives of our children, on her fellow teachers, and on the parents has been positive and valuable. We miss her now and will continue to miss her terribly.

We will be having a memorial service in her honour at 4:30pm on Saturday May 12, 2012 at the First Impressions school grounds. This service will be preceded by a viewing of the body at the Davis Funeral Home starting at 2:30pm.

Teacher Ann will be interred in Jamaica, her home country. Our love, prayers and support go out to her family members who are dealing as best they can with this unforeseen tragedy.  Many persons have expressed a desire to help financially so you will be pleased to learn that arrangements have been made to accept your donations at the school from Friday May 11 through Friday May18. If your donation is in the form of a cheque please make it payable to First Impressions. Any assistance you can give in this way will be greatly appreciated.

We received the news on Monday May 7th which shocked the entire First Impressions body. The teachers and staff had to deal with this news while the student body was pouring in for their classes and activities. It has been an emotionally trying week and in the coming days and weeks we will need to give moral support to each other and especially to those who worked closely with her for these years.

Please remember Teacher Ann’s family and the First Impressions staff in your prayers.
