Days and Hours of Operation

The Centre is opened from Monday to Friday from 7:45 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and closed on all public holidays. The Centre is closed annually during the last week of August and Christmas week. Dates are posted on the school calendar.

The primary follows the public schools annual calendar, closing for similar holidays and vacations.

First Impressions also follows the public school’s emergency closing procedures. If public schools are dismissed early because of a hurricane watch or other natural disasters, the Centre will close at the same time. Listen to the local radio station for early closing information.

Full day instruction begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

Primary instruction begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

Opening hours are applicable to preschool and primary classes.

Classes engage in free-play until they are collected.
