May 11th – Football in Anegada

Hello Parents,
Please see the message we have received below from Coach Cas in preparation for the Anegada games. Our U9 team has a game at AO Shirley on May 4th so let’s gather the names and do a head count at that time, so we can let her know the size of the FI contingent for the 11th.

Good Afternoon,

As everyone know that we have a trip schedule to Anegada on May 11th for Cedar (1) and (2) U12 and also Cedar U9 along with First Impressions U9, we need to know in advance how many parents will be going across to Anegada with us. Can you please ask or spread the word around so that we can provide a bigger ferry if needed for that date?

We nornally use a ferry that can hold (66) sixty six passenger (48) forty eight kids, (8) eight coaches and (10) parents, that’s why am asking now so we can book a bigger ferry. We don’t want parents showing up who cannot get a space on the ferry.
Cost: $40 per parent/adult, extra kids are $20 each.
The Ferry leaves from Trellis Bay at 8:30 am and return when we are ready to leave.

Training Session for U12 Tuesday and Baughers Bay.

We have a big match this Thursday for the U12 team. So we would like to have a U12 training session at Baughers Bay tomorrow (Tuesday) at 4.30pm. The players will be picked up from the school. Practice should be about 1 hour and we can bring them back to the school or parents can meet us in Baughers Bay to pick up your child.
Please make every effort to have your child attend this practice. They have been dormant for a couple of weeks with just a few training sessions so we need to refresh them and build their confidence and team spirit.

Return Forms, Calendar and this week’s events

Hello Parents,

  1. Please fill out the ‘Return Form‘ to let us know if your child will be returning to First Impressions in the Fall. Please download and print your return form, fill it out and submit it to us.
  2. Please see the School Calendar which has been updated.
  3. This week we have some football games as the BDO Football League continues.
    Our Under 7 team plays on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
    Our Under 9 team plays on Saturday and
    Our Under 12 team plays on Thursday
    Please refer to the calendar and the Schedules for details.

As usual, we are looking forward to a great, productive, enjoyable and successful week here at First Impressions – join us!

Welcome Back

Hello Parents and Students,

Welcome back to school as we begin our Trinity term. We hope you had a blessed, restful and enjoyable Easter break. This is the final term of the school year so we make our greatest efforts now to finish the school year strong.  Here are a changes to the calendar for this term:

Spanish Bee – June 25
Assessments – June 17 – 21
Prize Giving – July 2 at 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. – All Students (attire: School Uniform)
Grade 6 Graduation Only – July 2 at 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Summer Camp – July 3 – 6 (ages 5 – 8 yrs)

We are looking forward to another great term here at First Impressions!
