Football League kicks off today!

The BVIFA After School League kicks off for First Impressions today. Our Under 7 team has a match at 3:45pm against Enid Scatliffe “C”. This match will be held at First Impressions. Please see the General Calendar for all matches during May and June for the Under 7, Under 9 and Under 12 teams.

Some of the games will be on Saturday mornings at the A.O. Shirley recreation grounds. Please come out whenever you can to support our teams. Remember attendance is not restricted to parents of players only, EVERYONE is encouraged to come out.

Our team recently took part in the opening ceremony for this tournament. It was a great day and here are some pictures!

NOTICES – 5th May, 2011

  1. Please remember that the annual maintenance fee is due next month (June), it is $175.00 per family.
  2. Please turn in your child’s Return Form on or before May 20, 2011.
  3. Parent Conferences are scheduled to begin on Monday 9th thru Thursday 12th May.  Please check with your child’s teacher for your scheduled time. Class schedules are being sent home with each child, and we will also post the information here and on our school’s calendar.  Conferences are conducted for preschool and primary students only.
  4. Thank you for your cooperation with respect to yesterday’s fiasco. Our apologies, plumbing issues are nearly always unpredictable.  We cleared the major hurdle and the system is back in operation.  Everyone was very understanding, this was very much appreciated.

URGENT!! Problem at the main building!!

Parents of children in Nursery through Grade 1.  There is a sewerage problem in the building and while it is being worked on, it will not be sorted out quickly. Water and Sewerage are there digging and fixing. The smell is overwhelming and we have to make the decision to send home the children in the main building NOW!! Please come to the school and pick up your children ASAP.

Of course we regret having to do this and there is obviously some inconvenience, but this situation has presented itself and we cannot do anything about it so please, your cooperation is requested and appreciated.
