Class meetings have been scheduled below. Please make every effort to attend. This is your chance to meet with your child’s teacher and to meet some of the other parents. We have found that the parents’ network is beneficial for both the parents and students especially when homework is not understood or brought home, or when items are missing or unknown items found! Remember we are all part of the First Impressions family and our interaction helps to make our children’s education experience here complete. We look forward to seeing you. 6th December 2011 Re: Change of Staff I am sorry to have to inform you that Teacher Ina of Preschool 2 has submitted an unexpected resignation as she wishes to explore avenues at the primary school level. Unfortunately, that is not possible here at First Impressions. In light of this, I have had to reassign teacher Ann from Toddler two back to Preschool. Teacher Natalie remains in Toddler 2 and Teacher Celine from Toddler 1 has been placed in Toddler 2. Teacher Alma will revert back to assisting Teacher Marcy in toddler 1. These Reassignments are not difficult as all concerned have prior experience in the groups assigned. I do sincerely apologise for the very sudden notice however, I could only respond with the situation as it was presented to me. I anticipate a smooth transition and wish to thank you for your cooperation during the unexpected event. I take this opportunity to gently remind you of our end of year activities. 14 Dec Class Parties (Teachers will inform)
FIRST IMPRESSIONS PRIMARY SCHOOL The following clubs will be offered from 3:15 – 4:40 p.m. on Mondays – Thursdays. We recommend that each child be permitted to join at least one club. NEW! FRENCH CLUB – Now being offered on Mondays for students in classes 3 – 5
Parents of children in Nursery through Grade 1. There is a sewerage problem in the building and while it is being worked on, it will not be sorted out quickly. Water and Sewerage are there digging and fixing. The smell is overwhelming and we have to make the decision to send home the children in the main building NOW!! Please come to the school and pick up your children ASAP. Of course we regret having to do this and there is obviously some inconvenience, but this situation has presented itself and we cannot do anything about it so please, your cooperation is requested and appreciated.
