Class meetings have been scheduled below. Please make every effort to attend. This is your chance to meet with your child’s teacher and to meet some of the other parents. We have found that the parents’ network is beneficial for both the parents and students especially when homework is not understood or brought home, or when items are missing or unknown items found! Remember we are all part of the First Impressions family and our interaction helps to make our children’s education experience here complete. We look forward to seeing you.

By admin, on April 29th, 2011%  The FIFA National Primary Football Competition will be starting soon. The competition’s opening ceremony will begin with a march from the Pusser’s parking lot at the Road Town dock and will proceed to the AO Shirley recreation grounds. The march is this Sunday, May 1st beginning at 2:00pm.
All students who usually participate in the school’s football program are asked to come and take part in this ceremony. It is very short notice but the coaches did not realise that First Impressions was still on Easter holidays and the distribution of the uniforms is becoming a challenge. At this point you could just show up and get the uniform there (bring shoes) or call Coach Cass at 499-7138 and coordinate with her.

By admin, on April 15th, 2011%  Well, you’ve heard about the Spanish Spelling Bee competition which took place recently as part of the house competition events; and how proud we were, and still are, about the performance of ALL the children in that event.
Now here’s something a little more familiar. The (English) Spelling Bee will be coming up near the end of May. The children in each class will be given a certain number of words which they will have to study and know for their Spelling Bee event. The children will be tested with words taken from their respective lists. This means that they will have to be able to spell ALL THE WORDS IN THEIR LIST because they will not know which word will be required for the test.
The list sizes will be as follows:
Kindergarten: 25 words
Classes 1 & 2: 50 words
Classes 3 – 5: 75 words
The word lists will be posted here on FirstImpressionsBVI.com as soon as they area available so you will be able to print your child’s list and start studying.

Prices are as follows: $1 to Dress-Up. $2 per movie. Popcorn and Juice will be on sale for $1 each.
